JESSICA AND JACOB

Jessica and Jacob were full of devilment for our photo shoot!  They proved to be great
wee posers, even though it was a little chilly and we had just waded
through some mud to get there and got some on the Lelli Kelly shoes………!

It was a wee bit chilly!

Now their Mum Joanna insisted she didn’t want in the photos but Jacob had other ideas!

Give a boy a stick!

Not ones for the wall – but I like them!

WILSON AND JOYCE

Wilson and Joyce choose The Stirling Management Centre for the wedding ceremony and reception. It’s part of Stirling University and is set in the most beautiful landscaped grounds, providing loads of great photo opportunities!

I first met Wilson whilst photographing his Daughter Catherine’s wedding a couple of years ago in Glasgow so when I received a phone call from Wilson asking about my availability  I was slightly surprised.  Joyce and Wilson had known each other through the bridge club for a wee while but were nothing more than friends until Wilson charmed Joyce into a dinner date with a BOGOF voucher! I think this sums up their wonderful relationship – full of fun and laughter.  The wedding was a great family affair with all their children and many grandchildren involved to make their day pretty special!

Mr and Mrs plus one!

They very informal speeches followed straight after the ceremony.

With Wilson’s daughter Catherine acting as ‘Best Woman’

Trying to heard the grandkids up…….no easy task!

We managed it, with a lot of persuasion and hanging on tightly!

Did I mention the laughter with these two?

We had to ask very politely for a man and his grandson to let us use their bench for two minutes – turns out he was a Humanist Celebrant who recognised me form a another wedding!

A wee tribute to the the Bridge game that brought them together!

ELLA, CARA AND A CAT NAMED DUDE!

I had the pleasure of shooting two beautiful sisters Ella and Cara in their back garden along with some help from their Mummy and Daddy Lorraine and Frank – who proved to be very handy in moving the parasol around the garden to keep the girls out the blinding sun!

Enter, the cat called Dude! Well it wouldn’t have been a family portrait without him!

I think this shot means – ‘It’s a wrap!’

JENNA AND HARRY – PRE WEDDING SHOOT

After much ‘will we, wont we’ we decided to brave the weather for Jenna and Harry’s pre wedding shoot in Glasgow Green.
I think someone was looking out for us as it stayed dry for the whole time of the shoot but as soon as we got back to the cars -the heavens opened again!!

The old drying green provided a little prop help and a bit of ‘cheesy’ posing!

Strangers in the bus stop?
I said sweet nothings….I don’t want to know what was really being said!

Great pre wedding shoot, all nerves gone! Roll on the big day in St Andrew’s in the Square.

AMY, FREYA AND NINA

Remember the Sunshine?

We had a lovely afternoon with Amy and her cousins Freya and Nina in Amy’s wonderful garden when the sun was shining. Wendy houses, races and picnics, Oh and a wee visit from a dog!

‘Say cheese’ everyone!

Did I mention the dog?

Might have to think about bringing one one every shoot – all eyes this way!!

Amy with her Mum and Gran.

I love this image, think it’s one of my favourites from the whole year.

STACEY AND PETER (WITH THE GROOM THIS TIME!!)

After the pre wedding shoot I was looking forward to shooting Stacey and Peter’s wedding as I knew the girls would be great fun to work with again. With the added bonus of their two boys and Peter the groom, who is definitely not camera shy and we could say a bit of a poser and …the wedding day was a great laugh from start to finish.
The ceremony took place in the Park Circus Marriage Suites.

The terrible two!!

Did I mention the posing?

Mum…….don’t embarrass me!

The reception was held at The Universal.

As I said – I knew the girls would be on top form!

First dance! Very easy to see how much in love these two are!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs McIntosh.
